PLATFORM
I come from a family that has a long history of community service. My parents and grandparents instilled in us the importance of working hard and giving back. Over nine years serving Royal Palm Beach, I have focused on ease of doing business with the Village, growth for our local businesses, increase transparency, and opportunities for our senior residents. I want to continue to work for you. I will continue to serve the community as your councilwomen and ensure your voice is heard.

LIST OF PRIORITIES
Local Business
Local businesses are the backbone of our community. Owners of these businesses live in the community, have children in our schools, and support other local businesses.
I worked with staff to provide a New Business Packet. This digital step-by-step guide on the Village website helps those opening a business in the Village navigate the process.
While a member of the Economic Development Task Force with the Central Palm Beach County Chamber, I initiated the 'Buy Local' program to increase the visibility and revenue of our local businesses.
Senior Residents
We have many retired residents in the Village that would like to remain in their homes. As they become reliant on others, it makes it more difficult for them to remain in their homes and as an active member of the community.
I worked to bring two facilities to Royal Palm Beach that provide assisting living and memory care. I have worked with Our Community Cares to serve residents 65 years of age and older for free by offering short-term services when a little extra help is needed to maintain their independence.
Transparency
In leadership roles with several organizations, I have always represented the entire organization, and firmly believe in complete transparency. Since 2016, I post council meetings and summaries monthly to various sites to proactively inform residents.
In addition, I was instrumental in adding a public information system position to help inform residents of what is going on in the Village, and a new Village website. These include events, code changes, road resurfacing, and construction updates.
Education Options
Not every child learns the same way. Parents should have alternative options that are not found in a traditional setting to help their children.
As a member of the Talent Supply and Education Pillar of The Six Pillars of Florida’s Future with the Florida Chamber, I worked with the school board to ensure our education system is competitive with others around the country. These options are imperative to increasing business development in the area and provide future employment options for our young residents.
I will continue to work to give parents the opportunity to have a K-12, private school, and hybrid option of in-class and home in the Village.
